Our Sensory Apprenticeship acts as a foundation year for Heartwood who run an excellent 3 year practitioner training programme.
The Heartwood 3-year online course offers an in-depth education in Herbal Medicine accredited by the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and consisting of approximately 3,600 hours of taught and directed study over 3 years, divided into 12 modules. It is rooted in the understanding that an authentic herbal medicine course must transcend the biomedical model, and support the growing body of knowledge of the healing power of plants.

We are linked with Heartwood, support their work and the methods they use. They promote the energetic medicine of plants as well as blending this with medical herbalism techniques. There are times when the group ‘get together’ at residential’s, this is not an exclusively on-line program.
